Throughout the seasons, Downtown splashes its small town scene with artistry from around the world and history from block to block. From hometown theater to the best of the wild west, we’ll keep you engaged and entertained throughout the year with an incredible array of equally enjoyable outdoor activities, indoor artistry and historic events.

There’s no other Downtown in Nevada like ours; just a little time spent in our center of the state will show you all that sizzles from sun-up to sun-down. What you’ll find are festivals that make the seasons sparkle, shows that outshine the best of the bunch, and home town humor and homespun fun.

To get started, click into the Brewery Arts Center to learn about the magnificent talent coming your way. From concerts, to theatre, to kids’ productions and artistic exhibits from around the world, the Brewery Arts Center is truly the pulse of arts and culture right here in our own Downtown.

For kids of all ages, the Children’s Museum is a must-not-miss. Interactive education takes first place here where there’s more to do and see than one day could possibly host. And it’s a far cry from a typical museum. Check out the virtual marble-maze game which is one of only four in the world; come see how this museum captures your imagination through the use of technology like the marble-maze and good old fashion words, pictures and hands-on exhibits, too!

And that’s just the beginning! Here in the heart of the old west history is far from a thing of the past. From the wild west railroads coming back to life to the U.S. Mint overflowing with Comstock tales, you’ll find that yesteryear is alive well.
